Poliphemo Riserva Vecchie Vigne Taurasi DOCG 2019 Luigi Tecce
Luigi Tecce's Poliphemo is a pure Aglianico, with grapes from a small vineyard of about 80 years. The plot is located on sandy limestone soil of clayey nature rich in pyroclastics, capable of giving this Taurasi great expressiveness. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with maceration of 40 days, both in chestnut vats, then refining in tonneaux on the fine lees for a further 24 months. The result is an austere red wine but at the same time of great vigor.
