Pierre Chaude is the pinnacle of Eric Pfifferling's mastery, capable of obtaining a masterpiece of balance between fruit maturity and refined delicacy. It comes from the Grenache vineyard that is almost 70 years old where there are some Carignan and Clairette plants, together with a dozen rows of Grenache Blanc.

It ferments with skin maceration for 15 days and ages for 18 months in tonneau.
Profumo

The nose ranges from floral to light hints of lavender, then shifts towards aromatic herbs like thyme. Given time to breathe, it begins to offer notes of raspberry and pomegranate.
Gusto

On the palate, it is incredibly refined and harmonious with a velvety tannic structure. There is a perfect ripeness of fruit, yet it maintains remarkable freshness. The acidity is pleasant and perfectly integrated. It finishes with a long, spicy aftertaste.
