Côt à Côt 2021 Domaine Noëlla Morantin
Côt à Côt by Noëlla Morantin is a red wine made from 100% Côt grapes, the varietal known as Malbec, which in the Loire expresses a very different character compared to its Southwestern counterparts: airier, less muscular, with a freshness that makes it almost surprising. The vines grow on clay-flint soils over a limestone base in Pouillé, on the banks of the Cher. The classification as Vin de France is a deliberate choice by Noëlla, who prefers stylistic freedom over AOC discipline.
