Chemin de La Brune 2024 Domaine l'Anglore
Chemin de la Brune is L'Anglore's most delicate and refined rosé: the opposite of Tavel in method, the opposite in character. Where Tavel uses semi-carbonic maceration and builds structure and tannin, Chemin de la Brune is made from direct pressing of Grenache from centenary vines, complemented by Cinsault and Aramon. The result is a rosé of very pale, almost impalpable color, distinguished by a fineness and lightness unusual in this area of the southern Rhône. It is not a Tavel — it is released as Vin de France precisely because its profile does not meet the appellation's standards: too pale, too subtle, too Burgundian in spirit to be a southern rosé. Twelve months in steel on the lees, without filtration, without sulfites: Pfifferling's signature applied to the domaine's quietest cuvée.
