The Barolo La Foia by Nadia Curto is a refined and vibrant expression of Nebbiolo from La Morra. "La Foia," which is still part of the Arborina cru, is a deeply fascinating plot: cooler soils, rich in sand and marl, which yield taut, floral, subtle wines, always endowed with a natural grace. Nadia interprets this parcel with her usual sensitivity: no forcing, delicate extractions, and a measured use of large oak barrels, to preserve transparency, florality, and tannic finesse.
The 2021 vintage, balanced and with great aromatic definition, perfectly enhances the character of La Foia: a Barolo intense but never heavy, elegant but not fragile, capable of inspiring emotion today and evolving over the years.
