Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba DOCG 2022 Stefano Porro
The Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d’Alba by Stefano Porro originates from a special selection of grapes from the oldest part of the family vineyard, with plants over 50 years old, planted by Stefano's grandfather. The vineyards are located between the Brea and Cerrati crus, one of the most highly-regarded areas in Serralunga d’Alba, characterized by a south-east exposure and calcareous soils, ideal for giving Nebbiolo depth, structure, and longevity.
In the glass, it reveals itself as a true gem, intense yet composed, capable of conveying a traditional and rigorous vision of Barolo. On the nose, deep aromas of orange peel, violet, and subtle balsamic notes emerge. The palate is balanced and linear, with straight, well-sculpted, and persistent tannins, accompanying an elegant and coherent progression. An authentic Barolo, uncompromising, speaking of terroir, time, and precision. A beautiful expression of Serralunga d’Alba.
A limited production, intended for those seeking true, rare, and deeply authentic wines.
