The Orange Wine Odyssea of the Macchion dei Lupi estate is obtained from the vines of the winery of the same name that extend over 4 hectares in the hinterland of Suvereto, not far from the Tyrrhenian coast of San Vincenzo. The Mediterranean climate of the Livorno Maremma is mitigated by sea breezes and guarantees a perfect habitat, which finds full expression in the grapes produced. The vineyards are managed according to organic and biodynamic agriculture with the utmost respect for the environment and biodiversity. The soils are of heterogeneous composition, with the presence of skeleton and minerals of ancient volcanic origin. From these soils comes Odyssea, obtained from 100% Ansonica grapes harvested in four different harvest campaigns (the last with slight over-ripening due to subsequent maceration on the skins; a wine with great personality that manages to transmit all the warmth and energy of the Maremma.
